It's not Barneys fault...

Poor little Barney, the White House doggie, got in trouble yesterday for nipping a reporter. I'll bet that guy won't reach out to pet without permission again. He wasn't hurt, but of course it made the news because, after all, Barney is the First Dog you know. The reporter had to be seen by the White House doctor and had to be put on antibiotics and will need to get a tetanus shot and all of that. Good grief! Whatever happened to getting nipped by a dog and washing it off with soap and water and putting a little turpentine on it and going on about your business?
